Fens-History

The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences is an important building block that implements Kadir Has University’s understanding of academic excellence in the leading fields of science and technology. The Faculty of Engineering, which started education in 1998 as the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and was founded in 1999, merged its disciplines and took the name of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences in 2011. Our faculty adopts an educational approach that adapts to the requirements of the age by bringing together scientific knowledge and technology. Our faculty has a wide academic diversity that includes fields such as computer, electrical-electronics, industrial and mechatronic engineering, as well as natural sciences such as molecular biology and genetics. These programs, which are at the intersection of engineering and scientific disciplines, provide their students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Our faculty offers an education at European standards with MÜDEK accreditation and the EUR-ACE label, and prepares our students for academia and industry through project-based studies and sectoral collaborations. With its expert academic staff, advanced laboratories and solution-oriented education approach, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences educates its students as innovative individuals who shape the future of science and technology.
