The WURI 2024 World Ranking of Innovative Universities, created by the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) to assess the real contributions of higher education institutions to industry and society, was announced at a ceremony held by the Institute for Policy and Strategy on National Competitiveness (IPSNC) at Franklin University Switzerland in Sorengo, Switzerland.
According to the announced results, our University ranked 74th in the “Industrial Application” category, where it applied with its project-based education model, and achieved great success as the only foundation university from Turkey to enter the list.
Our university’s project-based education model stands out with its curriculum prepared in collaboration with leading sector representatives, where theoretical knowledge and practical skills are integrated into project development and implementation processes, and where each student is provided with an academic and a sectoral “mentor”.
