The names of the main jury members of the Kadir Has Short Film Competition have been announced!

Organized for the first time this year by Kadir Has University Radio, Television and Cinema Department, the KHAS Short Film Competition sets out to support the short film production of undergraduate and graduate university students on a national scale and to discover young talents.

The application deadline for the competition, which is organized with the theme of “Game”, is May 3, 2024.

At least one of the directors and/or producers of the films applying to the competition must be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, have undergraduate or graduate student status, and the applied film must be no longer than 10 minutes long. From the finalist films determined by the Preliminary Jury, the Main Jury will select 3 films and award cash prizes to the owners of the works:

THEME: “GAME”

The main theme of the KHAS Short Film Competition this year is “Game“. We invite our participants to think creatively and explore the possibilities of cinema based on this concept.

The game points to different meanings that can change and vary depending on where you look. The game can be an escape; for some, it is an experience in the virtual world, while for others, daily life itself can become a playground. It can evoke freedom or idleness, as well as competition and ambition. The following themes may be inspiring for those who want to transform their creative journey with the concept of gaming into a short film:
