Prof. Dr. Ozan Erözden joined the Public Law Department of our Faculty of Law.
Ozan Erözden worked as a research assistant and lecturer (Assoc. Prof.) at the Department of Public Law at Istanbul University, Faculty of Law between 1989-1999. He worked as a human rights observer in Croatia within the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe between 1999-2002. He worked as a lecturer (Assoc. Prof. and Assoc. Prof.) at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yıldız Technical University between 2002-2015. Erözden worked as a researcher at the Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne between March 2006 and September 2007 with the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung Scholarship. In 2015, he started working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at MEF University, Faculty of Law. He joined the staff of Kadir Has University in September 2023.
Working as a researcher in two international projects (UNDP-supported Blue Bird and EU Commission-supported JURISTRAS) and one national TUBITAK 1001 project, Erözden has publications in Turkish and foreign languages on the subjects of state theory, nationalist theories, human rights, justice in the process of transition to democracy, and philosophy of law. Erözden’s current field of study is the relationship between neuroscience and legal theory.
