The 2022 results of the “List of the World’s Most Influential Scientists”, prepared annually by researchers from Stanford University based on the data in the SCOPUS index database, have been announced.

In creating the list prepared as “Career-Long Impact” until the end of 2022 and “Annual Impact” for 2022; international criteria such as total number of citations, number of patents, h-index, hm-index, number of articles and number of qualified publications were used.

The Vice Rector of our University and Dean of our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences is listed in the “Career-Long Impact” category of the list, which includes more than 200 thousand scientists worldwide who continue their work in 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. Prof. Dr. A. Nihat Berker, Dean of our Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Metin Kozak, from our Molecular Biology and Genetics Department Emeritus Prof. Dr. M. Önder Pekcan, from our Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department Emeritus Prof. Dr. Erdal Panayırcı, from our Industrial Engineering Department With Prof. Dr. Volkan Ediger from our Computer Engineering Department Assoc. Prof.. Dr. Nima Jafari Navimipour took place.

Among the influential names in the “Annual Impact” category for 2022 are our University academics. Prof. Dr. Metin Kozak, Prof. Dr. Erdal Panayırcı, Prof. Dr. Volkan Ediger, Assoc. Dr. Nima Jafari Navimipour and Computer Engineering Postdoctoral Researcher Seyed Sajad Ahmadpour.
