Founded by Ahmar Mahboob at the University of Sydney in 2007, the Free Linguistics Conference is a unique event that promotes inclusivity and knowledge exchange in the linguistics field. Encompassing a broad spectrum of language studies from language education to applied linguistics and linguistics, the conference pushes the boundaries of these fields. Accessibility is a key principle. There are no registration, participation or presentation fees. It is important to highlight the fact that the Free Linguistics Conference is committed to organizing a unique annual international conference with no registration fees, while actively engaging in global partnerships to meet the evolving needs of the linguistics community and disciplines.
