The summer workshop organized by our architecture department in collaboration with Vitra starts today.
Our department has set a workshop program focusing on the flexibility/modularity of building materials and will address these concepts from both environmental and practical aspects.
The workshop includes a design process that includes technical research on material properties and visual compositions. Later, the selected designs will be brought to life by participating students in various venues on the university campus. The final products will be a surface design that is also planned to be exhibited during the university introduction days.
The summer workshop will last for 2 weeks between July 25th and August 4th.
