Koç School students and teachers carried out a very valuable work in the 100th year of our Republic: As part of the school’s 100th year events, they carried out the “100 Scientists in the 100th Year of the Republic” poster project and began to display the posters as of the October 29 Republic Day Ceremony.

With this study, they aim to remember, together with the school community, the works of the scientists sent to all corners of the world in the early years of the Republic and the scientists who have made their names known throughout the world since that period, with Atatürk’s words, “We are obliged to go and learn wherever there is science, technology and expertise, wherever there is art. We are obliged to work hard,” and to get to know these scientists.

Dean of our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nihat Berker and our board of trustees members at the “100 Scientists in the 100th Year of the Republic” exhibition Prof. Dr. Gökhan Hotamışlıgil and Assoc. Dr. Canan Dagdeviren is also included.
